Who is coming to your house

I am Sam. I run SamIt myself, which is the point. The same person is at your house every visit, and that person already knows where the shutoff is and which window leaks.

I am not a licensed contractor. I do not touch electrical, plumbing beyond a toilet fill valve and a clogged drain, HVAC repair, or roofing. When something crosses that line I tell you, and a licensed partner with an open date comes attached, which is more than you get from someone hoping to sell you the repair themselves.

I am also a weather kid, and that is not a throwaway line here. I follow every system in the basin and I am headed toward a construction degree because how buildings hold up in storms is the thing I actually care about. Members hear from me about storm prep early, every time.

Why the technology matters to you

Scheduling, confirmations, quoting, invoices, and reminders all run on software. Partner calendars and rates are visible to me, so a plumber gets booked in the same conversation where the leak was found. None of that is impressive on its own. It matters because it means almost every hour I charge for is an hour spent working on your house, and that is what keeps the price below a management company doing the same thing with an office behind it.
